Faded Zap is back. Other products (Gather and Crow, Flow Y, Relaxed Fit Crop) are also coming in Oasis, Snorkel Blue, and Passion. Hmmmm.

I could not care less what Oprah puts on her lists but I think it's pretty freakin' cool that the wife of the President wears Lululemon in her public events. These are photos of Michelle Obama at a Let's Move event with children in Harlem yesterday. She is wearing a Potion Purple Define and I'm pretty sure that's a Power Y underneath. I can't spot a logo on the pants but I think it's a safe bet to say it's Lulu.

Ivivva Me So Pretty Circle Mesh Top
I would love, Love, LOVE for Lululemon to bring out a long sleeve (and short sleeve, too) Circle Mesh Shirt. Why are they doing this in the children's line and not the adult? A shirt like this would be fantastic for when it's warm out but I want some coverage from the sun. If you are a Lululemon 4-6, you might able to fit into Ivivva. Ivivva runs from 4-14 and the 12/14 is comparable to an adult 4/6.

As a Lululemon Addict I feel the need to spread my passion to others, as I'm sure you all do. Now that I've seen the light I can't understand how people can continue to work out in baggy old cotton tee shirts, ill fitting pants, and generally uncomfortable clothes when they could look and feel so much better. ;-) I've already converted my sister. I've tried to convert my husband and he is resistant but I'm making inroads. He was recently shopping for Lululemon golf shirts on eBay (he refuses to pay full price for Lululemon). The fact that professional golfer Ryan Moore wears Lululemon even though he is not sponsored by them holds a lot of weight with him (and me blabbing on about Lulu doesn't? Grrr.). I've been giving my brother and brother-in-law Luluelmon for Christmas the past couple of years and that is what they are getting this year. I don't have an unlimited Christmas budget so everything I got was off the markdown rack but if I do say so myself I got some great end of season deals. I bought my sister a Swiftly tech tee ringer tee style in Senorita pink with Dark Classic Sport Gray for $39. I got my brother, who is an avid mountain biker and road cyclist a Metal Vent Tech Longsleeve for $24 (!) (and it wasn't even a hideous color). I got my brother in law who works out in the gym and snowboards a Revive Crew (without the awful zipper) for $24.
I am hoping there are some goodies on the markdown rack this Friday but I know last Black Friday it was nothing special. Are you giving anyone Lululemon for Christmas or Hanukah? Tell us what.

Lululemon's Relaxed Fit Pants made Oprah's Ultimate Favorite Things list. I actually don't have a pair of the latest version of the Relaxed Fit Pants. I have an older version called the Extend Pant which are very similar - snug in the rear, looser in the leg. They are among my favorite pants to wear when I do wear full length pants to the gym. I think another good looser in the leg, snug in the rear pant is the new Belt It Out Pant. If I had to choose my Ultimate Favorite Lululemon pant it would,as I've mentioned many, many times before, be the Still/Be Still Pant. I don't wear them in the gym because there's just too much material but they are great to wear everywhere else.

"I would look at myself and think, 'Ugh!' I was miserable. To get to the gym — when you already don't like yourself — is really hard. So I had to make it fun. I started wearing cute outfits and putting on a little bit of makeup. And as vain as it sounds, it really helped me because eventually I stopped hating the way I looked."
Her words really ring true for me. When I first discovered Lululemon, I would buy one tank a month to keep myself motivated. Now it's turned into an insane obsession but I still get a big mood boost from wearing a new piece, especially if it's in a bold color. Just the other day, I couldn't wait to rip the tags off my new Heart Tank. The only downside is I am hooked on getting new designs and colors and get bored with the older stuff even if I loved it a year ago. I know I'm not the only one who feels like this because I know there are a few of you who regularly sell their older stuff on eBay.
