Only in the UK as far as I know but a new tee - the Perfect Layer Tee is coming. It comes in Seaside Dot Burnout Black, Fossil, and White. I like it. However, I think the burnout fabric is pretty delicate.

Gosh I hope this isn't a replacement for the Every Yogi t-shirt. I love the EY for casual wear--it has become my summer staple t-shirt and I have it in almost all the solid colors that came out. This new one looks too thin and I don't care for the different lengths in the front and back.
I've noticed the burnout looking becoming increasingly "all the rage" as Pure Barre sells t shirts that are made from Alternative Apparel with their logo on it. All of them have the burn out or deconstructed look.
It is kind of a messier look for the deconstructed hoodie that I do not like as I adore the clean lines of the scuba!!. . . but the burn out tees and tanks are actually surprisingly pleasant!! They are both covering and cool. And when you wear a contrasting color underneath you can see pops of it through. It really is just layering and covering. Not actually hardcore sport! Now I don't know how the Lulu shirts will hold up -but I am just commenting on the style and I can say - I wasn't impressed at first but then gerw to really love it! I've got several burn out tops I love to layer - in fact I'm wearing one right now LOLOL.
I love burnout tees -- thy are usually supersoft and comfy-- I usually grab them from aeropastle or abercrombie when they are 5 bucks and then I dont feel bad if they rip or stain -- I love a crisp white burnout tee with colored shorts!
Same here on the burnout tanks/tops. I have plenty from Prana: ls with hoodie, t shirts etc. Love the sheerness and as Minda said above, the pop of color that peeps through when layered with brighter colors. I must say that I am tempted by the Seaside Dot Burnout Black Perfect Layer Tee. Would love the Seaside Dot Burnout Black print in a Power Y or the good 'ol Scoop Neck!
but you know that LLL burnout tee will not be $5...EVER...even on MD. it will be something crazy like $58...with a potential MD to $39. for a super thin shirt that is super delicate made by LLL??? you know, the company who has had a plethora of QC/QA problems over the past few months? um, i don't think so. i'll take the Abercrombie, Aeropostale, Bob's Store, JCPenney's, etc, special markdown tee for $5 or $10. it'll probably last a heck of a lot longer!
Love it! The black will look so good with all of the bright tanks. I have been wearing the heck out of my Mantra Short Sleeve so this will be a nice alternative.
No burnouts for me. It reminds me of crushed pattern that so many people are wearing. Ugh. Can't stand it. Burnout is better than crushed. Once again, I buy LLL for the athletic appeal (good fit, technical fabric and wearability). This is definitely not the fabric I can bank on. Potential price will probably be around 60 bucks something. I have never owned one from Lulu but my experience is they are delicate. I will end up hand washing every LLL item I have with all the unresolved bleeding issues plus this. I refuse...

this tee was at the HK showroom at the end of May. it was in their PN.
I like the look of the black one, but I can get pretty burnout tees at H&M for $5-$10, too. And they don't smell like fish.
Still, I will be curious to see it in person.
