Fleet Street Hoodie, Race With Grace Crops, and More

This top isn't as bad as the website photos would lead you to believe. I wonder if it's more breathable than the Reflect Jacket which has all the breathability as a sauna suit.

Race with Grace Crops.

The latest Swiftly tops in Baroque Blue, Zing Pink, Fresh Teal, and White.

The Lavender Dusk 105F Singlet looks so cute with the Pop Plaid Speed shorts. I cannot wait until that print is released here in the Groove short. Also shown is a Pink Zing Swiftly tank.

New Tame Me Tanks in Baroqoue Blue and Fresh Teal.

The new Core Kicker Tank.

So here, the v-neck swiftly looks like the normal pink zing, not the darker, coral pink zing shown on the website. I wasn't sure if that was a photo issue or if the heather changed the tone.

Tried on the Race with Grace crops in soot today. Not as compressive & opaque as speed tights. Fit was oddly tight in the crotch. Mesh panels in front instead of back looked bad. Easy pass for me!

OT: Just wanted the mention that the Chai Time Pullovers are added to the What's New section as of this morning. I went to the store last night to get it for $88. The online price is $128.

i ordered all 3 colors of the Chai Time PO today because i love the design so much. However my order got cancelled few hours later. I called the GEC and was told they're not comfortable processing my order because the amount was too large and was told to buy them from a store. LLL, i spent tons of money on your products. Is this how your treat a loyal customer like this?? I am so disappointed!

Has anyone got the same experience before?

Any word on how the pink zing speed shorts are fitting? I hate that the sizing is so inconsistent.

Anyone else see the Chai Time sweaters appeared on the site today! FYI, they were $88 in stores and $128 online!!

I was amazed to see that the current release of Camu WUs are actually made in the US! I was looking at the tag on my pants last night and noticed that.

Just got back from my store. That reflective hoody thing has the heaviest, rubbery sleeves. I do not see how on earth that can be breathable! The Moto jacket was still full price for the black, and the grey was marked down to only $109. The new Race with grace LS in Baroque Blue is very cute, love the cuffins, and I would size up, my normal 4 was pretty snug. The Race with Grace crops were TTS, but were pretty sheer in soot--I could clearly see my undies.

The new pop plaid is so cute--the baroque blue keeps it from being too juvenile! however! I do not like the black trim! If only they would have used inkwell or baroque blue for the trim color, I would have bought them. The black is just too harsh! The Apex Zing stripe speeds are cute, but as I suspected they are a little sheer. Lulu very sneakily got around this by using a black liner. You can, however see the black liner (which I thought I saw in the online pics, but wanted to check it out for myself). They ran pretty TTS if not a tiny fraction of a bit larger, which is nice for 2 way stretch.

I left with a spry Featherweight singlet, which I cannot believe sold initially for $68! It was at what I thought a proper price point--$19. I sized down to a 2 from my normal 4. None of the Baserunners (which were all online or gift returns were on sale). I would have bought one if they were. I was feeling cheap today.

Sorry but what's going on with the crotch in the new Blue Baroque Hi/Low WUp? On both pictures where we can see the front, it's too revealing but particularly on the last image. No thanks.

Tried on the pink WUs in store today- sheer in a size up. They were def too big on me and not stretched too thin-baggy and bunchy. I still believe some batches are better than others although idk how many batches would have been made in the pink. But I got a pair of regular black WUCs about a month ago that are great. They aren't even full on luon. I feel lucky to have found those though as I've come across mostly sheer for a long time now.

Other than Baroque Blue, which there's nothing that I've really
"gotta have", I am not digging the colours. Like others, I'm mystified by the palette.

As of 5:20 EST, the Chai Time Pullovers are $88. Not sure why they were $128 initially!

Bought the Chai pullover in my true size 4. It is definitely not a size down item. However, I am returning it to the store tomorrow, because after just wearing it for a few hours, the grey pullover already looks so worn. Tons of pilling and snags (all I did was grocery shopping and lunch out). Such a shame.

OT - does anyone have a scoop neck tank? I bought the winter orchid one on sale recently, and it arrived in the mail with no cups. Online it looks like it is supposed to come with cups; am I right? TIA!!

The Chai Time Pullover shows up as $88 now online, so they fixed the pricing issue.

LLL has adjusted the online price to $88. But I was one of those who ordered it when it was just uploaded at $128. That is a full $40 dollars more!
When I read on this blog that the same sweater was $88 in stores, I wrote an angry email to LLL (I'm overseas) requesting my order to be canceled for the inconsistency in their prices. But instead of a reply, I got the shipping confirmation email.
Now angry as I was, I went to the online chat and was very clear that I wanted my $40 back.
The guy then tells me, after verifying that I was in fact the same fool who had paid such inflated price just hours earlier, that they "usually do not do price adjustments, but in this case they would make an exception and credit me the $40".
Now he REALLY got me upset, and I told him that it was LLL who had screwed up the online price. That it was not a favor what he was doing to me, nor a price adjustment, since $88 is indeed the FULL PRICE of the sweater. My money was refunded into my Paypal account immediately.

Sometimes I wish I could punch these people on the face so they wake up!

anon 2:37, i hear ya i've not dealt w/ too bad a situation but a couple here and there and i know what your talking about and i get super peeved too! the wu high low pants in the crotch area- just a case of the woman has them hiked up too high! pull your pants down problem solved!!! I actually like to sag mine a bit for comfort and privacy ;) i hate my lady showing it's gross, i don't know how anyone can stand the feeling of that!

Where are all the energy bras??!?

I have the same one but bought it in store, so it had cups. Try asking your local store for them. HTH!

I tried on both speeds today and went home empty handed. They were a little larger than normal, but not a size down for me. I did not like that the pink zing had a black liner. I sweat A LOT and during a run, I think that it would just look atrocious. The plaids were cute, but they seemed to flatten my butt. It wasn't a look that I was going for! Maybe it was because they were a smidge bigger?

I love the reflective detail on the shorts, but I prefer the 4 way stretch speed shorts.

@ 2:37 PM, seriously snap out of it, chill out and cool it with the comment on behaving violently.

WTF Canada?! No pink speed short, no bomber, no Fleet Street, no core kicker in my stores. Are you only shipping to Van & TO?! I also love the store update email on Wed & when I go in Wed pm, everything is sold out already. I guess store employees are all size 4 or 6 also?! Beyond irritated. Most of the Chai time pullovers had pulls in them BTW, so I'm concerned about quality.

@4:30 PM

I stumbled upon the wee stripe wu's on Tuesday night and ordered them. If the Chai Time came out today, that's even weirder...dribbles and drabs.

O/T I went to my local lulu store Tuesday around 5pm...they know me and in the pants section one of them asked if I was looking for something specific. I said yes. She asked "the WU Camo?". She pulled out the last one and IT WAS MY SIZE!!! She said it had hit the floor Tues am. Thank goodness for LLA's heads up!

I really like the subtlety of the pattern. The color looks great with light blue, hot pink, light pink, split pea, black.

I haven't noticed any sheerness, but then again, I'm not walking around with my butt sticking out.

Any reviews on this bath of chai times? I have an aqua-coloured one from a couple years ago that I love. I want to order the grey but afraid to since the website makes them look so sheer. Any thoughts would be appreciated before I pull the trigger.

@ 4:30 PM, they do it from time to time.

I wanted to love last year's Run Reflect jacket so much but I felt like I walking human sauna just 5 mins after putting it on in the dressing room.

Just tried on the Fleet Street Hoodie the other night and I'm in love. The bodice is thicker power luxtreme material but it's breathable. I felt warm enough but not overheated just trying in the fitting room. My arms didn't overheat. However, I'm bugged that there are only 4 tiny grommet holes per underarm. I understand that the reflective material is thick, rubbery, expensive and possibly hard to work with, but lulu had ample opportunity to include some sort of mesh in the underarm area of the power luxtreme portion. And they should have gone further by putting in mesh under the entire forearm/arm area of the sleeves for additional breathability.

Otherwise, design wise, it's super cute. Love the pull tabs on the neck, and especially adore the ponytail hole which is a feature that made me fall in love with Lulu's running jackets/pullover hoodies.

Living in So Cal, wicking and breathability is a must in fabrics. At $178, it's a bargain when compared to last year's Jacket price and especially with nike's flash run jacket. I'm thinking about it, hoping I'll catch it on md as my store has a full size run.

I got my Zing Pink WUCs in the mail today (in my normal WUC size). THEY'RE TERRIBLE. I could clearly see every detail in the tag standing up straight (obviously worse when bending over). You couldn't really see my underwear, but they were a solid light color. I decided to put on a black pair with a light print on it and try again. Yup, you could see EVERYTHING. They're definitely going back. I didn't pay $72 for that nonsense. So much for "full on" luon. It makes me so sad because I loved the color of them :(

Thank you for your help! I will do that :)

wow so glad i didn't guy the zing pink speeds- I only like the 2-way and so glad they know identify the shorts- finnally! anyhow i love this blog, now that i know they have a black liner???? why on earth would they have done that???? big bad no no!!!! they are stupid is all i can say! I rarely buy any lulu anymore i used to be an addict, not anymore at all- the occasional crb if a nice solid comes out or a pair of wu i like here and there but that is it!!! My this company has gone down the tubes in the past couple of years ever since they went big w/ ms. day at the helm its been one big disaster!!!!!

Tried on the Chai Time today - it's fine, just a plain old long black sweater with a boat-ish neck. Funny how I was almost tempted because it looked nice enough.

Then I gave my head a shake - I pay LLL prices for technical gear, because it functions for me better than almost anything else in my various workouts. Casual wear, on the other hand... I can rock a $15 Old Navy sweater and make it look like $100.

No need to shell out $90 for the Chai Time. I wouldn't buy it for that much in a regular clothing store, so why would I in LLL?

Also tried on the Race with Grace PO in BB. Gorgeous colour, really liked the top. My regular size 8 was snug but not obscene, and sizing up made it a decent over-layer. So if you want to run in that alone, definitely do your regular size - it fits like a proper technical shirt should. But if you want to layer something underneath, then I'd size up.

That said, I didn't pull the trigger….probably will want it as soon as it's sold out… lol

I just received my race with grace crops in the mail along with a pair of Inspires. I do not have any inspires. The hang tag on the Grace crops reads power luxtreme and on the website it just says luxtreme while the Inspires also say power luxtreme. The fabric tags on both are exactly the same with the exception of the waist band on each. I think it was 77 nylon and 23 lycra or something very close to than 72/28? Anyway...the Race with Grace seem a little more sheer but I really liked them (black/baroque blue). The Inspires bag at my knees a little and have some extra material around hip flexors. HMMMM both the same size. 5'5 120ish used to always buy 4's but have been buying 6's since sheer became an issue but I don't think a my waist/hips could do a 4 in either. I recently ordered a 6 in the speed tight tech and they slide down big time. Wish I would have ordered a size down but how do you know? Just wanted to let you all know the Grace are power luxtreme but sheer in a squat.

Agreed! Sometimes we need to check ourselves.... Nothing too special with the Chai, sorry:( I would rather buy a Free People sweater.

Lululemon is going downhill VERY FAST. I've been an avid collector for years. But this past week has hit my breaking point. I ordered 3 chai time sweaters - at the wrong price. Was told the price would be adjusted when it was shipped, and 4 days after placing my order, I finally got the shipping notification but no price adjustment. Chatted with an educator who was useless. Lululemon has lost me as a customer. HORRIBLE customer service and 4 days to pack and ship my parcel??? So I've decided my 3 orders (yes I placed 3 in the past 4 days) are all going back. Too bad Lululemon, you could have made over $800 from me.
