The Three-Day Canadian Warehouse Sale...Sold Out in 24 Hours

The Canadian Warehouse sale was supposed to be a three-day event but this is the message that pops up now - the stuff is all gone and the sale is over. Some people are speculating that perhaps an on line sale was tried since there wasn't enough product to fill a real warehouse sale. I guess that could be true. Or, it could be the case because you have a much wider audience through the web you can sell a lot of product quickly. Prices were slashed this afternoon to move lingering items:

(Thanks to Lulumum for the screencaps.)

I would think Lululemon would have to be happy with how the on line sale turned out. There is a rumor that the American side will get their own sale, too, but I am not sure how solid that is.

I never knew about this sale - how did you find out about it?

I believe that's the going exchange rate now: 3 days Canadian=1 day! ; )

Hope our friends In the Great White North scored some great deals! For the people down here complaining that we didn't get such a sale, Lulu has done events down here they can't access. Plus, they have to pay more for everything because of that hideous GST. They deserve a break!

I hope they do more sales like this online with more sizes available. Beats standing in line at a on site location and fighting crowds to get what you want. FYI to all Lulu followers.... if you bought the Chai Time pullover at $128 Lulu has just price corrected this item online to $88! I bought it yesterday online at $128 and noticed the price change and immediately called their guest hotline. They are aware of the issue and are crediting me the $40 difference

Just because LLL claims everything is "sold out" does not mean that it's true. They've claimed such things in the past, but then suddenly products that are several years old appear online for a warehouse sale. As recently as yesterday, they pulled ALL the Energy Bras off the website, even the Deep Zinfandel/Winter Orchid striped one that was uploaded on Monday night and still FULLY stocked right before they pulled them. On Monday night, they also did not have the Chevron Dot Pacesetter Skirt uploaded, but that appeared yesterday around the same time as the Energy Bras were pulled. LLL likes to believe that they can control their customer base, at least their minds, by playing mind games. LLL loves it when customers commiserate about having "missed out" on some item that LLL just arbitrarily pulled. LLL doesn't spend money on advertising, they count on educators & crazed customers to hype their merchandise instead. Chip founded the company based on a megalomaniacal philosophy pulled from the Landmark aka EST philosophies. As more & more former LLL employees come out with tell-alls, more of the company's inner workings will be exposed. Crazy stuff.

When will the US sale be? :)

Definitley a lot of Canadians who can't access a warehouse sale that jump all over this.. especially the loyal repetitive buyers who stalk the website and can't even access stores.
That was neat, even though I was too late I appreciate Lulu doing this for us.

Pretty much everything on those screen shots of the Canada sale has been sitting in the Orlando outlet all year (except the Defines and Strides).

It said directly on the web page that they are doing something for the American Side. So I don't understand why this is being questions, and why the hate for the Canadian only sale??

Just stopped by a Lulu store and was told that more stuff were on sale. Grabbed a pair of Gather and Crow Crop ($49), a Boggie Short ($19) and a pair of In The Flow Short. Very happy with my purchase!

What worries me is my order placed around midnight still hasn't shipped... I hope it doesn't get cancelled :/

By all accounts, it seems to have been a success. Definitely see LLL doing more of these in the future, probably in the US.

On the other hand--moving items cross border is a huge hassle tax and regulation wise. It's the reason they keep CA and US stores acting separate and they arent allowing US users to order, because the items are currently stored in CA warehouses.

The biggest problem with the sale was that there were issues with PayPal. Had placed an order but it was never confirmed with LLL and thus did not go through.

I'm on the west coast and luckily awake when the email came out after 11:00pm PST. Wound up with the Wet Coast Backpack (um, where has this been all my life) for $49, marked down from $128 and a Studio Hoodie (men's) for $39 also marked down from $128...it was sitting on my doorstep when I came home this afternoon.

I received my black slub define today and it's fabulous!! The fit is spot on. I'm a bit mad at myself for caving in to a forme a few months back. At least the forme is piqué which is one of my most favorite fabrics from Lulu. What I would give for a piqué or mini check define!!

Amy 3:06, I only use PayPal on ebay purchases. I use regular Credit Card payment on LLL and haven't had a problem.

When I made my warehouse sale purchase, saw it was immediately "reserved" on my credit card. I got my order notification immediately (even though they say up to a half hour now), and my order shipped in the early afternoon (made the purchase just after 2 a.m. EST).

The warehouse sale was certainly not worth getting indignant over if you werent able to access it. The products, sizes, and prices available were lame.

Are there any other people who had troubles between paypal and lululemon during this sale? And has resulted in not getting your order?

I placed an order when they dropped prices further. It went through on paypal, but I never got a notification from lululemon. I think it was because one of the items sold out around the time I placed my order. I was still a bit annoyed that they didn't confirm the other items in my order since they were still available for at least another half hour after I placed mine. Just because one item's sold out doesn't mean they can't give me the rest of my order, right? But on second thought, I didn't really need any of it anyways. My funds are still tied up in Paypal but I expect to get them back.

I purchased something during the sale and used paypal around 6:30am (early riser for work =)) and there was not a problem with my purchase.
